Yemen PM in Saudi while Saleh hangs on to power

Report and counter-reports have been published throughout today on whether or not Yemen’s President Ali Abdullah Saleh has been taken to Saudi Arabia for medical treatment following the attack on the Presidential Palace on Friday. It would seem that he is still in Yemen which is unsurprising…
Protester beating picture of Saleh - Sign of disrespect in the Arab world

The attack on the President Palace which has killed seven and severely injured five senior officials including the Prime Minister all have which had to be transferred to Saudi Arabia where there are better equipped hospitals.

From what we have seen from Sahel and his ruthless determination to retained power that even if his medical state was dire he would still choose to stay in Yemen and cling to life and power.

This single minded determination shows that he is not capable of compromise and that Yemen freedom can only be obtained by Saleh removal. The question is now, will he leave or stay for the opposition fighters who will enact justice by the guillotine in true revolutionary zeal.

Report form Al-Jazeera stated at 18:00 (UK TIME) that President Saleh has suffered heart and second degree burns and is due to the severity of his condition will now be transferred to Saudi Arabia.
